"The only way we will survive is by being kind.
The only way we can get by in this world is through the help we receive from others. No one can do it alone."
Amy Poehler, "Yes Please"

First thing's first – I am writing this post from my new apartment!! I officially live with my boyfriend now. It took twelve hours, we ended up with more furniture than we expected, and I almost broke a finger, but thanks to a ton of help from my family, we were able to get it all done in one day.

It's been a week now, and surprisingly, most of our stuff is organized and put away. I've been enjoying the view from our balcony, the luxury of a dishwasher, and curling up with a cup of coffee and a book in the morning (some things never change).

I feel like I've been MIA in life lately. Now that I'm settled, I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

The live-action "Beauty and the Beast" was wonderful. The songs all gave me goosebumps, especially "Little Town"/"Belle." I was also impressed with how closely they had matched the outfits from the original.

An open and honest chat about depression from Megs (Wonderful You).

I've been in my new position at work for a little over a month now and am really liking it. It's a good change, much different than my old role. It feels refreshing and great to love my job again.

In two and a half weeks, my friend who moved to Colorado is flying back to Chicago for a weekend. I can't believe it's already been almost three months since we've seen each other.

Plane tickets, because three weeks after my friend visits me, I'll be taking a trip to Denver to visit her. J
