"People will either be an inspiration to you or a measuring stick for you.
You choose their function in your own life."
Hannah Brencher

What I've learned over my first year at my first job.
Books I've read this month.

Elizabeth Gilbert's "Magic Lessons" podcast, giving me the spurt of creative inspiration that I need.

My FabFitFun summer box came in the mail sooner than expected, and, unsurprisingly, I LOVE it. My favorite item is probably the Seas the Day beach bag, pictured above. It also came with a yoga towel, body scrub, hair spray for beach waves, moisturizer, and popsicle molds. (If you aren't signed up for FabFitFun, you're really missing out. A piece I absolutely LOVED about redefining #FriendshipGoals.
Why lazy/pamper days are important.
Questioning whether we grew up too fast.
A beautifully written piece on soulmates and platonic love.
Group Something VS Group Nothing
Thoughts on writing and developing your voice.
A dose of inspiration, positivity, and perspective: Why Not Me?

My best purchase of the month: Blink eye drops. These have been a lifesaver for me. I wear contacts most days, and by the end of the work day, my eyes feel dry and tired, These really help. Plus, they're contact-safe.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've gotten rid of three or four bags of clothes. It doesn't feel like I even owned enough to get rid of that much and still have something to wear every day, but apparently I did. I resisted the "I forgot I even had this, now I'll wear it more often" temptation and tossed anything I was even remotely iffy about. There's something about clearing out your closet, reducing the amount of things you own and the clutter, that just feels good.

My family vacation is in about two weeks! Having a week off from work will be pure BLISS.
